Eli Oosterhuis (born October 31, 1977 ) is a former Israeli ice hockey player who spent his career with the Haifa Hawks in the Israeli ice hockey league.
Career
Eli Oosterhuis played his entire career with the Haifa Hawks , for which he participated in the championship of the Israeli ice hockey league from 2003 to 2011 . With the team from the Mediterranean coast, he won the Israeli championship in 2006, 2007 and 2008 .
International
Oosterhuis made his debut in the D-World Cup in 1999 in the Israeli national team , when he missed promotion to the C group with the team with equal points and the same goal difference with Spain only because of the fewer goals scored. After switching to the current division system, he played in Division II at the 2002 , 2004 , 2007 , 2008 and 2009 World Championships . At the 2006 World Cup , he played with the Israelis in Division I, but could not hold the class there.
