Elisabeth Anderson (born August 6, 1989 ) is a former American ski jumper .
Career
Anderson, who has Norwegian and Swedish roots, started cross-country skiing at the age of two . She competed in her first competitions when she was three years old. She started ski jumping in fifth grade. Your first trainer was Keith Zuehlke . After she was accepted into the junior national team in 2003, she was part of the senior national team from 2005. On October 8, 2005, she made her debut in the Ski Jumping Continental Cup in Lake Placid . With 25th place she immediately made the leap into the points. At the Junior World Championships 2006 in Kranj she reached 20th place in the individual on the normal hill. Her most successful season so far was the 2007/08 season , in which she reached 51st place in the overall standings. in December 2008 she jumped her last international competition.
Since the end of her career, Anderson has attended Westminster College in Salt Lake City . Her younger sister Emilee Anderson is also an active ski jumper.
