Elisabeth Klopf (born April 21, 1980 in Steyr ) is an Austrian volleyball and beach volleyball player .

Career indoor volleyball

Klopf started playing indoor volleyball in 1993. In 2001 the universal player from Union Enns switched to the Bundesliga club ASKÖ Linz -Steg. In 2006 she became Austrian runner-up with the club. She repeated this success from 2009, 2011, 2012, 2013 and 2017 in a row. She also won the national cup in 2008, 2009 and 2011. European Cup 2009 and 2013 1/8 final.

Career beach volleyball

Klopf first appeared in the Grand Slam in Klagenfurt in 2004 with Julia Hansel . In 2005 and 2006 she played this tournament on the FIVB World Tour with Birgit Schmidt . In 2008 she was third in the Austrian championship. At the Challenger tournament in Chennai , she played with her new partner, Gabrielle Pemmer . In 2009 and 2010, Klopf / Pemmer played the Klagenfurt Grand Slam and the satellite tournament in Vaduz . In 2010 they also took part in the Open tournament in The Hague .

In 2011, Klopf formed a duo with her team-mate from Linz, Valerie Teufl . Teufl / Klopf played their first joint Grand Slam of the FIVB World Tour in Klagenfurt . They then completed the first open tournament in The Hague . They also took third place in the Austrian championship. In 2012 they reached 25th place at the Grand Slam in Gstaad . They played three other Grand Slams and the Åland Open. Her best result on the 2013 World Tour so far was 25th in Long Beach . At the European Championships in Klagenfurt , Teufl / Klopf took 25th place. In 2014, Klopf had to undergo an intervertebral disc operation and took a break this year. In 2015 Klopf formed a new team with Eva Freiberger. You start the season with a 5th place at the state championships and many international competitions. In 2018, Klopf starts the snow beach volleyball season with Viktoria Mair. They won the first Austrian championship title and finished second at the CEV tournament in Kranjska Gora & Kronplatz and were 17 at the first European championship in Wagrain.
