Valerie Teufl (born September 4, 1986 in Vöcklabruck ) is an Austrian volleyball and beach volleyball player .

Career indoor volleyball

Teufl started playing indoor volleyball in 2001. In the first years of her career she played for Union Enns and Union Regau . In 2006, the middle blocker moved to the Bundesliga ASKÖ Linz -Steg. With the club she became Austrian runner-up. She also won the national cup.

Career beach volleyball

In 2011 Teufl took part in the satellite tournament in Baden with Sabine Swoboda . She then formed a duo with her Linz teammate Elisabeth Klopf . Teufl / Klopf played their first Grand Slam of the FIVB World Tour in Klagenfurt . They then completed the first open tournament in The Hague . They also took third place in the Austrian championship. In 2012 they reached 25th place at the Grand Slam in Gstaad . They played three other Grand Slams and the Åland Open. Her best result on the 2013 World Tour was 25th in Long Beach . At the European Championships in Klagenfurt , Teufl / Klopf couldn't win a set and were eliminated after the preliminary round. Teufl has been forming a team with Bianca Zass since October 2014 .
