Elisabeth Lardelli

Elisabeth Lardelli (born von Waldkirch ; born February 21, 1921 in Bern , † March 9, 2008 in Chur ; resident in Poschiavo ) was a Swiss politician ( SVP ).

education and profession

After graduating from high school in Bern, Lardelli studied law at the University of Bern between 1941 and 1947 and obtained the Bern advocacy license . After moving to Chur, in 1950 she was the first woman to be admitted to the bar in the Grisons .

From 1955 to 1985 Lardelli headed the legal information office at the women's center in Graubünden.

Political activity

From 1973 to 1979 Lardelli was a major councilor for the SVP in Graubünden . In 1974 she moved up to the National Council as a substitute candidate for Leon Schlumpf , who was elected to the Council of States , but only stayed on the Council until 1975. From 1977 to 1980 she was President of the Swiss Association of Women Academics. Lardelli campaigned in her political work for women's suffrage and equal rights as well as for the new child and marriage law.
