Elisabeth Mattersberger

Elisabeth Mattersberger (born February 22, 1965 in Matrei in Osttirol ) is an Austrian politician of the Austrian People's Party (ÖVP). Since September 6, 2018, she has been a member of the Federal Council delegated by the Tyrolean Parliament .

education and profession

Elisabeth Mattersberger attended elementary school, secondary school and the polytechnic school in Matrei in East Tyrol. She then completed an apprenticeship as an office clerk and retail clerk. Since 1983 she has worked as an office clerk and clerk in an architecture office, a law firm and bakery in Matrei and in a tax consulting firm in Lienz . In the years 2005 to 2008 Mattersberger passed the accountant examination, cost calculator examination, personnel accounting examination and accountant examination. In 2007 Mattersberger founded Raffler & Mattersberger OG, a tax accounting company, as a self-employed accountant with Manuela Raffler .

politics

Elisabeth Mattersberger entered politics in 1998 as a councilor for Matrei in East Tyrol and was elected Vice Mayor of Matrei in East Tyrol in 2009. In the state elections in Tyrol in 2018 , she ran for second place on the ÖVP district list in East Tyrol . Since September 6, 2018, she has been a member of the Federal Council delegated by the Tyrolean Parliament . She replaced Elisabeth Pfurtscheller , who moved to the National Council .

At the end of September 2018, she was elected deputy to regional chairwoman Beate Palfrader at the state parliament of the Tyrolean workers' union . With 88 percent of the vote, it achieved the best result of the five deputies running for election. At the beginning of 2017 she succeeded Elisabeth Greiderer as the executive district chairwoman for women in the Tyrolean People's Party in Lienz, and in October 2018 she was elected district chairwoman.

Private

Elisabeth Mattersberger has been living with the toque chef Ernst Moser since 1995 and runs a two-toque restaurant with him in Matrei in East Tyrol and has a son.
