Elisabeth Welz
Elisabeth Welz (* 1924 ; † October 3, 1997 ) was a Franconian folk actress who was mainly seen in dialect roles.
Her star role was "Aunt Anna" in the Franconian comedy Schweig, Bub! in which they u. a. often appeared in the theater in her hometown of Nuremberg, but also in the theater on the right of the Isar in Munich. It appeared nationwide for the first time in 1972 in the second part of the Schoolgirl Report . By 1979 about 11 other films of this genre followed (including the Nurse Report ). In these films Welz mostly played the role of the strict elderly lady or that of a mother. In 1979 Welz stood in front of the camera for the first time with Gerhard Polt . From then on she appeared in almost all of his films, including a. 1983 in Kehraus , 1988 in One speaks German or 1991 in Herr Ober! . From 1987 to 1990 she took on the role of the housekeeper in the ARD series The Happy Family . More film and Series roles and speaking roles in radio plays followed until her death in 1997. Elisabeth Welz last lived in Baldham, Vaterstetten , in the east of Munich.
