action

Reporters uncovered intolerable conditions in the St. Martin Hospital in Munich. The nurses are underpaid and overworked. The only variety is sex with doctors and patients, with a Turkish doctor proving to be particularly intrusive.

additional

The film aroused criticism from professional medical associations. Mid-January 1973 organized in Südbaden an action committee Freiburg nurses a petition against the nurses report , in Bonn demonstrated a hospital employee, in Bavaria an action White dome . In addition to numerous signatures from the government, the Munich public prosecutor's office received 3200 criminal complaints from nurses against the rental company for insulting. Several CSU politicians protested against the film, and the Bavarian Prime Minister Alfons Goppel complained in a letter to the distribution company.

The public prosecutor's office then confiscated the nurses report . The District Court of Munich I decided in March 1973 to approve the film, but three parts of 93 seconds long that were considered indecent under Paragraph 184 were to be removed.

Reviews

"Copulation scenes in the hospital, cynically commented on and pressed into a silly plot in which a couple of reporters forces the head nurse to withdraw the immediate discharge of a nurse."

"How many of these embarrassing films do we have to endure?"
