Barbara Stanek , at the beginning of her career also Barbara Stanyk (born January 4, 1941 in Berlin ), is a German actress .

Life

The blonde Berliner went to the United States as an exchange student for a while at the end of the 1950s , where she graduated from school. Back home, Barbara Stanek caught up with the German Abitur. Her original intention was to study psychology in order to devote herself to youth work as a sociologist . Finally, at the beginning of the 1960s, Stanek decided to take acting lessons from Marlise Ludwig . After some theater experience, she made her debut in 1964 under the slightly changed name Barbara Stanyk with the supporting role of Ebba Pedersen in the Willy and Thomas Fritsch fun play That I learned from dad in front of the camera.

Her excellent knowledge of English also enabled the Berliner to return to the USA in 1966/67 for a few television roles. There she played alongside well-known actors such as Ben Gazzara and John Forsythe . In the late 1960s and early 1970s, Barbara Stanek was also seen in a number of German sex education and soft sex films. Numerous supporting roles in television productions followed, including as a guest in several series and in some movies. In the 1979 aired series The Protocols of Mr M Barbara Stanek had a continuous role with Ms. Textor. She also played theater regularly, including in her hometown of Berlin (e.g. in the stands ), in Munich , Cologne , Wuppertal and in Zurich .

Barbara Stanek has a daughter.
