Elisabetta Pellini (born April 6, 1974 in Sorengo near Lugano , Switzerland ) is an Italian actress .

Life

Elisabetta Pellini was born in the Swiss canton of Ticino , but is of Italian nationality. Her Lombard parents come from Milan and Varese . At the age of five she learned classical dance. As a student, she attended secondary school in Besozzo near Varese for several years. Elisabetta Pellini first learned bookkeeping. After that Pellini attended the University of Milan, where she jurisprudence studied. She did not graduate because she started working as a model for the Riccardo Gay fashion agency in 1995 . In the same year she started as a presenter on the Italian television channel Canale 5 . She made Elisabetta Pellini's debut as an actress in 1998 in Cucciolo by director Neri Parenti . She moved to Rome and devoted herself entirely to her acting training. She learned acting techniques from Annabella Cerliani, attended seminars on the Strasberg method with Ilsa Prestinari and received singing lessons from Francesca Romano. In her career so far, Elisabetta Pellini has only appeared in Italian films and television productions. In Germany she became known through an episode role in the 2009 ZDF crime series Kommissar Rex . Elisabetta Pellini took over the patronage for the Festival del Cinema di Busto in April 2008 . The passionate winter sports enthusiast spends her free time writing, dancing, painting and traveling.
