Elke Nagel

Elke Nagel (née Ballmann ; born July 21, 1938 in Rerik ) is a German author.

Life

Elke Nagel studied German and history and worked as a teacher in Schönberg (Mecklenburg) and Forst (Lausitz) . She has been working as a freelancer since 1975. She published her first books under her then name Elke Willkomm. From 1991 to the end of 2005 she was the director of the ENA music publishing house .

Nagel lives in Lohsa , OT Mortka, and has also been working on repositions from Sorbian since 1990 . She was married to the Sorbian composer Jan Paul Nagel (1934-1997) since 1982 . She is the mother of two children.
