Elling - Dear me tomorrow is a Norwegian feature film . The film is based on the eponymous series of Elling novels by the writer Ingvar Ambjørnsen . It was filmed in 2005 by Petter Næss with Per Christian Ellefsen and Sven Nordin in the leading roles.

After Elling and Elling - Not Without My Mother, the production is the third film in a trilogy about the heroic drama Elling. So far the film is only available in Norwegian.

action

Four years have now passed since Elling and Kjell Bjarne moved from the psychiatric ward in Brøynes to the shared flat in Oslo . Elling now lives alone in the apartment after Kjell Bjarne moved one floor up to Reidun and her little daughter Mojo. Although the small family takes it for granted that Elling belongs to them, he feels left out and withdraws more and more. He looks at the people around him with amazement and asks himself why they all find their way around life so well.

Kjell Bjarne and Reidun finally intervene. Elling protests violently, but is then quite satisfied when he stands as a new person - clean, well rested and well dressed. In short: he feels ready to gain a foothold in life again. Inside, he knows what is wrong with him and one evening he finally finds the woman in a sausage seller, with whom he is sure that she can fill the void in his life. He does everything to gain her affection and love, and ultimately gets her attention. The whole thing also looks very promising, but when he is invited by her to her house one evening, contradicting ideas stir in him and the story does not end quite as he had imagined. Nevertheless, Elling learns that you can master most situations with the courage to face life.

The story also features Reidun's little daughter Mojo, who is a great admirer of Uncle Elling. Despite his bad health, the poet Alfons Jørgensen played an important role in Elling's plans.
