Elmar Windthorst

Elmar Windthorst (born January 1, 1930 in Buer-Erle ; † January 20, 2018 ) was a German manager .

Life

Elmar Windhorst, son from the marriage of Karl Eduard Windthorst and Hedwig geb. Mauelshagen, was born in 1958 with Hannelore. Burkhardt married. The marriage had two children, including the legal scholar Kay Windthorst .

Windthorst studied physics at the Technical University of Munich and was established in 1958 with the work easier deformation and quadrupole nuclei to Dr. rer. nat. PhD. From 1963 to 1971 he worked for Standard Elektrik Lorenz (SEL) in Stuttgart, most recently as deputy. Board member for Marketing. From 1971 to 1978 he was a board member at AEG-Telefunken .

From 1983 to 2002 he was chairman of the supervisory board of Bauknecht Hausgeräte GmbH . He was a member of the supervisory board of Hewlett-Packard Germany and a member of the advisory board of Silit-Werke in Riedlingen and the Württemberg felt cloth factory Geschmay in Göppingen.

Windthorst was an honorary professor at Reutlingen University .
