Elsa Pfister-Kaufmann
Elsa Pfister-Kaufmann (born May 2, 1893 in Strasbourg ; † November 13, 1955 in Darmstadt ) was a German painter .
Life
Elsa Pfister-Kaufmann received her training at the arts and crafts schools in Strasbourg and Berlin with Leo von König and Emil Orlik and in Paris with Luc-Olivier Merson .
In 1918 she married the painter Julius Kaufmann . In 1920 they both moved to Darmstadt. In 1921 she took part as a guest at the annual exhibition of the "Darmstadt Group".
