Emanuel Bondeli (* 1660 in Bern ; † March 30, 1734 ) was a Bernese scholar and diplomat.

Emanuel Bondeli became professor of eloquence and philosophy in Bern in 1684. In 1685 he married Barbara Hory, daughter of the Neuchâtel lawyer Jonas Hory († 1726), Kastlan zu Boudry . In 1691 he was appointed to the city council of Bern. From 1701 to 1727 he was governor of Aubonne , Orbe , and Echallens . Together with his brother Simeon, he was on numerous diplomatic missions, the Governor General Wilhelm III. The Netherlands is said to have even promised him the office of governor of the Principality of Neuchâtel , without being able to keep his promise. In 1708 he bought the Baron Le Châtelard from the von Tavel family. In 1727 he received citizenship of Neuchâtel from the Prussian king for his services. From 1733 he was a member of the Small Council of Bern.
