Emil Franzke

Emil Konstantin Alexander Franzke (born February 26, 1895 in Schönau , Leobschütz district ; † February 22, 1984 in Goch-Asperden ) was a German farmer and politician ( center ).

Life

After attending elementary school in Schönau and grammar school in Leobschütz , Franzke took part in the First World War as a soldier from 1914 to 1918 , most recently as a lieutenant in the reserve. He then began studying law and political science at the University of Breslau , which he broke off prematurely in 1920 to take over a farm in Schönau. In the following years he worked as a tenant in practical agriculture. From 1927 to 1933 he was President of the Upper Silesian Chamber of Agriculture .

During the Weimar Republic , Franzke joined the Center Party, for which he was a member of the Prussian state parliament from 1932 to 1933 .
