Emil Jarosch

Emil Jarosch (born November 11, 1922 in Pockau , Marienberg district ) is a former German politician ( SED ) and economic functionary. He was deputy chairman of the council of the Erfurt district as well as general director of the VEB Kombinat Oberbekleidung in Erfurt .

Life

Jarosch was a trained businessman and qualified journalist. He exercised various economic functions, among other things he was department head in the VVB agricultural machinery and tractor construction as well as plant director of the VEB combine harvester plant in Weimar.

Jarosch was from October 1963 a member of the Erfurt District Assembly . In November 1963 he succeeded Werner Fieker as deputy chairman of the Erfurt district council and chairman of the district economic council . From 1964 he was a member of the Erfurt district leadership of the Socialist Unity Party of Germany (SED) and from April 1967 to April 1976 he belonged to the secretariat of the SED district leadership. He remained a member of the district leadership until December 1989, and was last elected to the district leadership at the SED district delegate conference in April 1986.

1965 doctorate Jarosch at the Karl Marx University in Leipzig for Dr. rer. oec. From September 1974 to March 1980 he acted as deputy chairman of the Erfurt District Council for district-managed industry, food industry and local utilities. He was replaced by Helmut Bauer and then General Director of VEB Kombinat Oberbekleidung in Erfurt.
