Emil Risch

Emil Risch (born November 16, 1866 in Triesen ; † November 9, 1950 there ) was a member of the Liechtenstein state parliament.

biography

Risch was a citizen of the Triesen community and completed the teachers' seminar in Bregenz . Then worked as a teacher from 1887, in Klaus (Vorarlberg) , Ruggell , Schaan , Schaanwald , Triesenberg and finally until 1929 in Triesen. From 1924 he was also the innkeeper of the “Post” in Triesen.

From 1918 to 1922 Risch sat for the People's Party (VP) as a member of the state parliament of the Principality of Liechtenstein . In 1921 he was expelled from the People's Party and then joined the Progressive Citizens' Party . He was also a member of the 1919-1922 Regional School Board between 1924 and 1927, he served as community leaders of Triesen.

Risch was a founding member of the historical association. In 1940 he became its honorary member.
