Emil Sulger-Gebing

Emil Sulger-Gebing (born July 7, 1863 in Basel , † December 29, 1923 in Munich ) was a German literary historian .

He was a son of the Evangelical Reformed merchant Johannes Sulger (1815–1881).

Career

He studied philology in Berlin, Jena and Munich. In 1902 he followed Wilhelm Hertz as professor of literary history at the Technical University in Munich .
