Emilie Ågheim Kalkenberg (born July 6, 1997 in Mo i Rana ) is a Norwegian biathlete .

Career

Kalkenberg contested her first international races at the Biathlon Youth World Championships in January 2016 in Cheile Grădiştei, Romania , where she won the silver medal in the sprint and bronze medal with the Norwegian relay. This was followed by appearances in the IBU Cup and the 2017 Biathlon Junior World Championships in Brezno-Osrblie. She achieved her first podium finish in the IBU Cup in December 2017 in Obertilliach , when she won the mixed relay race together with Karoline Knotten , Vetle Sjåstad Christiansen and Vegard Gjermundshaug . In January 2018, she made her first appearance in the Biathlon World Cup in Oberhof , with 69th place in the sprint, she missed both the points and the qualification for the pursuit race. At the 2018 European Biathlon Championships , she won bronze in the mixed relay race together with Kaia Wøien Nicolaisen , Håvard Bogetveit and Fredrik Gjesbakk .
