Emilio Carlos Homps Mulet (born September 28, 1914 in San Pedro , † November 2, 2012 in Buenos Aires ) was an Argentine sailor .
successes
Emilio Homps took part in the 1948 Olympic Games in London in the 6-meter class as a crew member on the Argentine boat Djinn under skipper Enrique Sieburger senior . Sieburger senior and his crew, which, in addition to Homps, also included Rodolfo Rivademar , Julio Sieburger , Rufino Rodríguez de la Torre and Enrique Sieburger junior , won with 5120 points , behind the US Olympic champions around skipper Herman Whiton and ahead of the Swedish one led by Tore Holm Boot the silver medal.
At the Pan American Games in Buenos Aires in 1951 , Homps also won silver in the Starboot with Jorge Brauer .
