Julio Christian Sieburger Hadler (born March 5, 1892 in Buenos Aires , † unknown) was an Argentine sailor .

successes

Julio Sieburger took part twice in the Olympic Games in the 6-meter class. In 1936 he completed the Olympic regatta in the Olympic harbor Düsternbrook in Kiel as the skipper of the Argentine boat Wiking in fourth place. At the Olympic Games in London in 1948 , he was a crew member of the Argentinian boat Djinn , skippered by his brother Enrique Sieburger senior . Sieburger senior and his crew, which included Julio, Emilio Homps , Rodolfo Rivademar , Rufino Rodríguez de la Torre and Julio's nephew Enrique Sieburger junior , won with 5120 points , behind the US Olympic champions around skipper Herman Whiton and in front of Tore Holm led Swedish boat the silver medal.

His nephew Carlos Sieburger and Jorge Salas Chávez and his son Roberto were also Olympic sailors. His niece married the Argentine sailor Jorge del Río Salas , who won Olympic silver in the dragon in 1960 .
