Enrique Conrado Sieburger Hadler senior (born November 18, 1897 in Buenos Aires , † 1965 ) was an Argentine sailor .
successes
Enrique Sieburger took part twice in the Olympic Games in the 6-meter class. At the Olympic Games in London in 1948 he was the skipper of the Argentine boat Djinn , with which he scored 5120 points. Sieburger and his crew, which included Emilio Homps , Rodolfo Rivademar and Rufino Rodríguez de la Torre , as well as Enrique Sieburger's brother Julio Sieburger and his son Enrique Sieburger junior , won behind the US Olympic champions around skipper Herman Whiton and in front of Tore Holm- headed Swedish boat the silver medal. In 1952 in Helsinki Sieburger, again skipper of the Djinn , took fifth place with 3393 points.
His family members with Olympic sailing experience included his brother Julio and his son Enrique junior, his son Carlos and his nephew Roberto . His daughter married the Argentine sailor Jorge del Río Salas , who won Olympic silver in the dragon in 1960 .
