Janina Rudenska
Janina Rudenska (* 1984 in Kiev , Ukrainian SSR , USSR ) is a German actress .
Life
Rudenska, who has Polish and Russian Jewish ancestors, spent her childhood in Kiev . Her grandfather is the director and TV presenter Viktor Jakowlewitsch Rudensky. In 1995 her family emigrated to Germany, where they initially lived in Hamburg . At the age of 16 she moved from home and stayed in Hamburg, while her family left Germany in part. In 2004 she began her acting studies at the University of the Arts in Berlin.
During her training she had her first theater engagements a. a. at the HAU , as well as at the Berlin Renaissance Theater . After completing her acting training, she was a permanent member of the Berliner Ensemble from 2008 to 2012 . There she worked with directors such as Robert Wilson , Manfred Karge , Thomas Langhoff , Katharina Thalbach and Martin Wuttke .
In addition to the theater work, the first film and television works were also made during this time. For example, in 2009 she shot the film “ 1000 miles from Tashkent ” (produced by the DFFB , published by the broadcaster Arte ) with the Berlin director Katharina Wyss, which is based exclusively on improvisations . She was also seen in Dominik Graf's television series " In the face of crime ."
Rudenska left the Berliner Ensemble in 2012 and has been working as a freelance actress ever since. After shooting for Rudolf Thome's film “ Ins Blaue ” for the first time in Italy , she lived in Rome for two years , where she learned to speak Italian fluently and has since been in front of the camera for Italian cinema productions. Here she worked with directors such as Monica Stambrini , Marco Tullio Giordana and Gianluca Jodice .
