Emma Cohen
Emma Cohen (actually Emmanuela Beltrán Rahola , born November 21, 1946 in Barcelona , † July 11, 2016 ) was a Spanish actress and writer .
Life
Cohen began her acting career in the late 1960s, initially in adaptations of literary works at the Teatro Español Universitario and in some episodes of the television series Estudio 1 . She became a busy actress in the 1970s, mixing horror films with comedies . She often played alongside or under the direction of Fernando Fernán Gómez , almost exclusively in the 1980s and 1990s; in 2000 the two married.
1979 Cohen was seen in the Spanish version of Sesame Street as the chicken "Caponata". She wrote regular columns for the El Mundo newspaper . She also published seven books.
In 1973 Cohen received the Círculo de Escritores Cinematográficos award for best actress in Al otro lado del espejo . In 1974 and 1989 she was awarded the TP de Oro for her achievements in Tres eran tres and Gatos en el tejado .
