Emory S. Land
Emory Scott Land (born January 8, 1879 in Cañon City , Colorado , † November 27, 1971 ) was an American officer in the United States Navy (most recently Vice Admiral) and head of the War Shipping Administration (WSA) and the United States Maritime Commission .
