Career
Emre Aygün learned to play football in his hometown Adana in the youth of the amateur club 24 Şubatspor . There he drew the attention of the Trabzonspor scouts to himself, so that he switched to the Trabzonspor offspring. From here he was spotted for the first time for the Turkish U-15 national team and was appointed to the squad. After he was called up for the U-18 two years later, the club gave him a professional contract in 2003. Although Aygün mostly played for the second team, he also sporadically took part in the training of the professional team and also played three times for the professional team in two seasons. After he could not assert himself in the professional team, he was loaned to Yozgatspor , Akçaabat Sebatspor and then again to Yozgatspor for half a season for the next year and a half .
For the 2006/07 season Emre Aygün left the club on a free transfer to the second division side Akçaabat Sebatspor . Here he played one season and was relegated with the club at the end of the season. Since Akçaabat Sebatspor could not pay his salary, but wanted him after a possible direct promotion for the season after next, it was decided to loan him to the second division club Orduspor for a season . Although Sebatspor did not succeed in direct promotion, Emre Aygün was brought back into the team.
After he played one season in the third highest Turkish division, the 2nd Lig , he moved to the first division club MKE Ankaragücü for the 2009/10 season . Here he could not prevail and left the club after a season in the direction of league rivals Eskişehirspor . There he stayed without playing a game until the winter break and moved back within the league, this time to Gençlerbirliği . Here he made five league appearances by the end of the season. In the 2011/12 season he was not preferred by the new coach Fuat Çapa and only completed one league game.
For the 2012/13 season he moved to the TFF 1st Lig for the Süper Lig relegated Orduspor . In the winter break of 2014/15 he left this club for the third division Göztepe Izmir .
