Emrecan Afacanoğlu (born March 15, 1991 in Izmir ) is a Turkish football player who currently plays for Boluspor .

Career

society

Afacanoğlu started club football in the youth of the amateur club Turgutreis Belediyespor . In 2006 he moved to Bergama Gençlerbirliği's youth and a year later to Bucaspor . Here he received a professional contract in June 2010, but was still mainly used in the youth. In parallel to his work, he was also used by professionals if necessary. So he made five league games for the professionals in the 2008/09 season. At the end of the season, his team reached the championship of the TFF 2nd Lig and thus promotion to the TFF 1st Lig . In the following season he won the runner-up in the TFF 1st Lig and thus promotion to the Süper Lig . The 2010/11 season he played exclusively for the reserve team. In the 2011/12 season he was used again with the professionals. During his time with the professionals in the 2011/12 season, he also played for the reserve team and was able to reach the runner-up in the TFF A2 Ligi with them .

For the 2012/13 season Afacanoğlu was loaned to Bergama Belediyespor . After one season, his loan contract was extended for another season.

After Bucaspor missed the relegation of the TFF 1st Lig in the summer of 2015, Afacanoğlu moved to the second division Boluspor . For the second half of the 2015/16 season he was loaned to Manisa Büyükşehir Belediyespor .
