Emmy Snook
Emmelia "Emmy" Anne Snook , after marriage to Ayliffe , (born October 4, 1973 in Perth ) is a former Australian rower .
Athletic career
The younger sister of the rower Ronald Snook took fourth place at the Junior World Championships in 1990 with the eighth . The following year she rowed in two boat classes at the 1991 World Championships in Vienna . In the four without a helmsman she reached eighth place, with the eighth she took twelfth place.
At the 1992 Olympic Games in Barcelona , Jodie Dobson , Emmy Snook, Megan Still and Kate Slatter competed in a foursome without a helmsman. After a third place in the preliminary run and a second place in the repechage, the Australians took sixth place in the final.
In the 1993 season, Emmy competed in single snook . After two seventh places in the rowing world cup , she finished tenth at the world championships . Two years later, Snook reached the A-final in double sculls at the 1995 World Championships in Tampere together with Bronwyn Roye and finished sixth.
