The Enmywaam ( Russian Энмываам ) is the right source river of the Belaja in the Chukchi Autonomous Okrug in northeast Siberia .

River course

The Enmywaam forms the outflow of Lake Elgygytgyn , which is located at 492 m in an impact crater . The Enmywaam leaves the lake on its south bank. It flows south and west first. Then he turns to the east and breaks through the mountain range of the Anadyr Plateau . Later, after leaving the mountains, the Enmywaam turns south and runs in the lower reaches west of Jurumkuwejem . Finally the Enmywaam joins the Jurumkuwejem to form the Belaja, a left tributary of the Anadyr . The Enmywaam has a length of 285 km. A major tributary of the Enmywaam is the Wapanaiwaam from the right.

Hydrology

The Enmywaam drains the central part of the Anadyr Plateau. The catchment area covers 11,900 km². At the gauge 21 km above the mouth, the mean discharge is 96 m³ / s. The river is ice-covered from November to April. The highest monthly discharge occurs in June with an average of 663 m³ / s.
