Enningdalsälven ( Norwegian Enningdalselva or Berbyelva ) is a river on the Norwegian - Swedish border in the historic provinces of Østfold and Bohuslän . It forms the outlet of the Norra Bullaresjön and after about 1.1 kilometers crosses the border to later flow into the Iddefjord .

The catchment area of the river includes the municipalities of Dals-Ed , Munkedal , Tanum and Strömstad on the Swedish side . On the Norwegian side, the municipalities of Halden and Aremark .

The lakes Boksjön , Kornsjön and Bullaresjöarna are part of its river system .

The Enningsdalsälven is known as the salmon river .
