Enrico Degano
Enrico Degano (born March 11, 1976 in Gorizia ) is a former Italian cyclist .
Athletic career
Degano started his professional career in 1999 at Navigare-Gaerne . Right at the beginning of the season, he managed to win two stages of the Tour de Langkawi . By 2002 he achieved a total of five stage wins in this race. In 2003 he moved from Ceramiche Panaria to Mercatone Uno . There he won a stage of the International Peace Tour .
From 2004 to 2007 Degano drove for Team Barloworld . He won two stages each at the Ster Elektrotoer in 2005 and at the GP Internacional Costa Azul in 2006 . In 2006 he won two stages of the GP Internacional Costa Azul and one stage each of the Volta ao Alentejo and the GP Internacional CTT Correios , in which he was again victorious in 2007 on the first section.
Degano started three times at the Giro d'Italia and once each at the Vuelta a España and the Tour de France .
