Cover picture and content

The translations are (as in the Barks Library ) by the famous translator Dr. Erika Fuchs , who shaped the inflective (also called ericative based on Fuchs ) and made it popular. There is a table of contents of the comics with the original English title, creation date and date of first publication in Micky Mouse magazine and DDSH or Goofy magazine . Since the American Gladstone -Original the onomatopoeia ( onomatopoeia , for. Example, " PUFF ", " SCRIEEC ", " QUIETSCH ") together with the coloring have been created, and these would be removed very expensive, the onomatopoeia are to be found in the original English version . Often the English original titles can also be found in the opening panel , to which the German title was added in Comic Sans MS .

The cover image used is the same as the one in the Barks Library , with the only difference that a slightly smaller section of the original in the Barks Library is shown, ie it is “ zoomed ”. It can also happen that the color is colored in slightly different shades. Since Duckburg Edition 10 , the imprint is no longer on the second cover picture on page 3, but on the inside of the back cover of the album.

A comic album currently costs € 6.90 (like the classics Lucky Luke and Asterix , which are also published by Egmont Ehapa Verlag ). Since Duckburg Edition 52 , the volume of the issue is not 52, but 68 pages, as the Barks Library only comprised 51 issues and the Barks Library Special is now being reprinted in the Duckburg Edition .
