The Envoy Rock (from English envoy , messenger, envoy ' ) is a cliff rock in the north of Marguerite Bay off the Fallières coast of Graham Land on the Antarctic Peninsula . It marks the northern end of the Dion Islands and is immediately south of Adelaide Island .
The Royal Navy hydrographic unit mapped and named the rock during a trip with the HMS Protector in 1963 . This was based on the naming of other geographical objects in the area, all of which have names associated with a court .
