Enza Negroni

Enza Negroni (born May 16, 1962 in Bologna ) is an Italian documentary filmmaker .

Negroni graduated from the “Discipline delle Arti, della Musica e dello Spettacolo” ( DAMS ) in her native city of Bologna with a degree in acting and made short films on video and celluloid at the beginning of her career. She worked as a scene photographer with Pupi Avati and took care of the cast and locations for productions filmed in the area of ​​her homeland. She lived in London for a year and worked for Channel 4 . After her return to Italy, she founded the production company "Monocrome" and a film school with Renato De Maria . In 1996 she made her debut with the feature film Jack Frusciante è uscito dal gruppo, based on the bestseller by Enrico Brizzi , which has won numerous awards. After running a cinema workshop for the period in which Bologna was named one of the cultural capitals , she made a documentary with the city's soccer and basketball ultras . In the years that followed, numerous documentaries were produced for the RAI (such as Le acque dell'anima or Istanbul ) or on art subjects (such as Antonio Canova - L'ideale della bellezza or Caterina De Medici - Regina e Mecenata ).
