Egypt took part in the 1952 Summer Olympics in the Finnish capital Helsinki with 106 male athletes in 65 competitions in 14 sports.

It was the seventh time an Egyptian team had taken part in the Summer Olympics since 1912 . The youngest athlete was the water diver Mohamed Fakhry Abbas (19 years and 249 days), the oldest athlete was the fencer Farid Abou-Shadi (42 years and 246 days).
