Singapore took part in the 1952 Summer Olympics in the Finnish capital Helsinki with five athletes, one woman and four men, in seven competitions in three sports.

After 1948 the second participation of a Singaporean team in the Summer Olympics .

Flag bearer

Weightlifter Thong Saw Pak carried the flag of Singapore during the opening ceremony in the Olympic Stadium .
