Puerto Rico took part in the 1952 Summer Olympics in the Finnish capital Helsinki with 21 male athletes.

After 1948 , it was the second time a Puerto Rican team took part in the Summer Olympics .

Flag bearer

Hammer thrower Jaime Annexy carried the flag of Puerto Rico during the opening ceremony in the Olympic Stadium , and at the closing ceremony it was carried by weightlifter Jorge Soto .
