The Turkey participated in the 1952 Summer Olympics in the Finnish capital Helsinki with 51 from Türkiye Milli Olimpiyat Komitesi part nominated (TMOK) male athletes in 31 competitions in four sports.

Since 1908 it was the seventh participation of a Turkish team in the Summer Olympics .
The youngest athlete was the 19-year-old basketball player Yalçin Granit , the oldest athlete was the 29-year-old soccer player Muzaffer Tokaç .

Medalist

With two won gold and a silver medal, the Turkish team was ranked No. 16 in the medal count .
