Epe is a port city in Nigeria in the state of Lagos with 87,289 inhabitants.

Epe is about 60 km east of the capital Lagos and about 25 km south of Ijebu-Ode . Epe was founded in the middle of the 18th century as an important port for the Kingdom of the Ijebu, but today it is only of regional importance. Mainly agricultural products are shipped, and in earlier times also slaves .
