The epitaph of the Moser family is in the choir of the Protestant parish church of St. Jakob in Oettingen in Bavaria , a town in the Donau-Ries district .

description

The Renaissance - Epitaph for Anna Moser († 28 September 1581) and her sons Albrecht Moser († 1 June 1580) and Ludwig Moser († 20 July 1580) is 1.61 m high and 0.82 m wide. The Solnhofen marble is lightly painted and provided with the family coat of arms and a frame of fittings . In the center there is a relief with a crucifix and the family of the deceased. Above is a putto , who is leaning on a skull with his right hand and an hourglass in his left .
