The Eppelborn Heimathefte are a regional history magazine for the municipality of Eppelborn in the Neunkirchen district ( Saarland ). With the subtitle contributions to local history for Bubach-Calmesweiler, Dirmingen, Eppelborn, Habach, Hierscheid, Humes, Macherbach u. Wiesbach has been published since 1983. The publisher is the Förderkreis für Heimatkunde und Denkmalpflege eV Eppelborn.

Since 1983, under the editorship of Reinhold Bost and after his death by Hans-Günter Maas, 19 issues (as of 2020) with a volume of 92 to 160 pages each have been published.

The support group for local history and monument preservation eV Eppelborn , founded in 1979, is the publisher of the Eppelborn Heimathefte. The approximately 60 active members research and publish the local history, contribute to the preservation of monuments and conduct ancestry and family research. They also maintain and look after the Eppelborn local history museum. In addition to the Heimathefte, the commemorative publication 100 Years of Post was published in Eppelborn in 1981 and the illustrated book Eppelborn through the ages was published in 2006 . Every year the sponsorship group organizes photo exhibitions for the Eppelborn Whitsun Fair.
