Eréndira Araceli Paz Campos (born February 17, 1961 in Mexico City ) is a Mexican ambassador .

Eréndira Araceli Paz Campos studied international relations at the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México and was the first woman to have a master's degree in military administration at the Colegio de la Defensa Nacional . She holds a Masters in Pre- and Primary Education at the Escuela Nacional de Maestros . She joined the foreign service in 1984 and had reached the rank of envoy in 2005. From 1990 to 1991 she was assigned to the Secretaría de Relaciones Exteriores (SRE) as an assessor for multinational affairs and relations with Europe, Asia, Africa and the Middle East. From 1991 to 1996 she was in Geneva at the United Nations offices there . From 1996 to 1998 she was a consultant in the personnel administration of the SRE. From 1999 to 2001 she was at the consulate in McAllen , Texas . From 2001 to 2003 she was a consultant in the Latin America and Caribbean department at the SRE and headed the United Nations department. In her presentation to the Senate on the occasion of the confirmation of her appointment as Ambassador to the Philippines, Eréndira Araceli Paz Campos gave an overview of the history of relations between Mexico and the Philippines . in the representation she showed that in colonial times Mexico and the Philippines belonged to the viceroyalty of New Spain .
