Erasmus Amukun
Erasmus Amukun ( Erasmus Samuel AO Amukun; born November 27, 1940 in Ngora , Kumi district ; † May 1998 ) was a Ugandan sprinter .
At the British Empire and Commonwealth Games in Cardiff in 1958 , he came in sixth place with the Ugandan 4-by-110-yard relay. Over 220 yards he was eliminated in the quarterfinals and over 100 yards in the preliminary run.
In 1960 he reached the quarter-finals at the Olympic Games in Rome over 100 m and 200 m and was eliminated in the 4-by-100-meter relay in the preliminary run. At the Olympic Games in Tokyo in 1964, he came over 200 m and with the Ugandan 4 x 100 meter relay not beyond the first round.
