Erdoğan is a village in the Sivas Province in the Gürün District of Turkey .

history

The residents of the village of Maraşlı (Erdoğan) came from the North Caucasian region of Nalchik during the Russo-Ottoman War of 1877/78 and settled first in the region and then in the village of Maraşlı. It is the only Circassian village in the Gürün district.

geography

The village is 193 kilometers from the city of Sivas and 57 kilometers from the city of Gürün.

economy

The village's economy is based on agriculture and animal husbandry .
