The Aitchison steppe candle ( Eremurus aitchisonii ) is a species of the genus steppe candles ( Eremurus ) in the subfamily of the Affodill family (Asphodeloideae).

The Aitchison steppe candle is a perennial , herbaceous plant that forms a rhizome and reaches heights of growth of (90) 120 to 200 centimeters. The leaves are grass green, keeled winged, almost flat and 30 to 50 (80) millimeters wide. The inflorescence is loose. The tepals have a length of 20 to 24 millimeters and are pink with a yellow background. The inner tepals are almost twice as wide as the outer ones. The capsule fruits have a diameter of 15 to 20 millimeters.
The flowering time is in May.
Occurrence
The Aitchison steppe candle comes in Pakistan in Chitral as well as in east and north-east Afghanistan , west and south Pamir-Alai and in west Tianschan in the Fergana Mountains on open stony and fine earth slopes at altitudes of 1000 to 3000, partly up to 3300 meters ahead.
