The Ereta Peak (English; Bulgarian връх Ерета wrach Ereta ) is a 2300 m high mountain in the west Antarctic Ellsworthland . At the northern end of the Bastien Range of the Ellsworth Mountains, it rises 12.88 km northwest of the Ichev Nunatak , 19.63 km southwest of Mount Gardner and 22.5 km west of Mount Vinson . Its steep north and south-west slopes are partly not icy. The upper section of the Nimitz Glacier lies southeast of it.
American scientists mapped it in 1961 and 1988. The Bulgarian Commission for Antarctic Geographical Names named it in 2014 after the Thracian city of Ereta in northeastern Bulgaria .
