A total of 70 seats

The results of the local elections in Dresden are listed in the following lists . The first part shows the results of the city council elections between 1919 and 1932, the second part the results of the city council elections from 1990 onwards. The third part shows the city district council election results from 2019 and the local council election results from 1999.

Only those parties and groups of voters are listed that have received at least two percent of the valid votes in at least one election. If this limit is exceeded several times, results from one percent are also listed. The field of the party that received the most votes or seats in the respective election is marked in color.

According to Section 12, votes and seats of the KPD were not taken into account. As a result, the committee only had 53 seats. The last representatives of the SPD lost their mandate through the "Ordinance to Safeguard State Leadership" of the Reich Interior Minister Wilhelm Frick on July 7, 1933. Borough Council Council elections

Direct elections to the city district councils have been held since the 2019 local elections. They replace the previous local councils, which were appointed by the city council on the basis of the results of the city council elections in the respective local office areas (today city districts) Altstadt, Neustadt, Pieschen, Klotzsche, Loschwitz, Blasewitz, Leuben, Prohlis, Plauen and Cotta and had fewer powers.
