Erhart Graefe

Erhart Graefe , also Erhartus Graefe (born February 11, 1943 in Frankfurt am Main ) is a German Egyptologist and Professor a. D. of the Westphalian Wilhelms University in Münster .

Life

Erhart Graefe completed his doctorate in Egyptology in 1969 at the University of Cologne , where he continued to work until 1975. He then went to the University of Freiburg , where he initially worked as a research assistant , before completing his habilitation in 1979 in the field of Egyptology . In 1987 Erhart Graefe became a corresponding member of the German Archaeological Institute and has been a member of the “Commission for Papyrology , Epigraphy and Numismatics ” of the North Rhine-Westphalian Academy of Sciences and Arts since 2009 . In 2013 he was elected a full member of the class for humanities at the North Rhine-Westphalian Academy of Sciences and Arts .
