Eric Francis MacKenzie (born December 6, 1893 in Boston , USA , † August 20, 1969 ) was auxiliary bishop in Boston .

Life

Eric Francis MacKenzie received on 20 October 1918, the sacrament of Holy Orders .

On July 11, 1950, Pope Pius XII appointed him . the titular bishop of Alba and it ordered auxiliary bishop in Boston. The Archbishop of Boston, Richard Cushing , donated him episcopal ordination on September 14 of the same year ; Co- consecrators were the Archbishop of Washington , Patrick Aloysius O'Boyle , and the Bishop of Reno , Thomas Kiely Gorman . In 1957 he was elected to the American Academy of Arts and Sciences .
